"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." - Pablo Picasso

Mrs. Doschi Rosa has been teaching art classes for children ever since she studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts in her home town of Vienna/Austria. She has been teaching within the Pine Bush Continuing Education Program since 2001.
Mrs. Rosa loves working with children:"I always assume that everybody has a gift for Art but maybe has just not discovered it yet. I very much enjoy working with children for they are usually not afraid to try new things even if they don't succeed at first . I cheer them on and sure enough they get great results." Mrs. Rosa is very proud of the talent and self-assurance in her students. Go to gallery to see some of their fabulous artwork.
NEW !!! this year > Hands-on Art For Adults
“I used to love ART but life got too busy and now I'm not good at it anymore!” If you ever said this and if you sometimes envy kids, watching them playfully create fun pieces of art without fear, doubt or stress - this class is for YOU!! We will experiment with all kinds of mediums in a relaxed atmosphere where mistakes are made into successes! Make time for FUN - The only mistake in art is to not do it !

,A few things before purchasing materials:
1. Please make sure that drawing pads are compatible (meaning that the paper is thick enough 70-100lb) with wet media like painting etc and that they are the right size > at least 11x14. "Sketch pads" usually have paper that is too thin for our purposes.
Learn more about paper HERE
2. Also, if you can, stay away from "kid's art sets" the items in them are usually very low quality and will not proof to be a good investment.
3. Please make sure your glue sticks/Elmer's glue is new or in good working condition, otherwise your child will not be able to enjoy the class fully.
4. Some questions about materials like, paints and various pastels are explained on our website on the "instruction" page. click HERE
